Studies

Some aspects of this piece I am content with, I plan to transfer my focus on material into my future work to convey weight, direction and texture.

A pencil drawing of an arrangement of still life. I am proud of the outcome of the violin within this piece and will transfer surface textures, reflection and shadow techniques learned from this study into future projects.

A portrait of Suzuka Nakamoto, lead vocalist of the band BABYMETAL. This pencil drawing needs improvememt however I like the detail  in the material and plan to apply this to clothing and fabrics within my animation course work.

Here, I have drawn half of a female face, focusing on the eye most of all as it is the most detailed and interesting of all facial features due to its structure and light variation. I will be continuing eye studies, both male and female as well as animal variations in the future, applying these to cartoon designs to enhance realism and accuracy whilst maintaining their cartoon appearance.
